Your Role:

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems. This includes building data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources.
• Implement data ingestion routines both from internal and external sources using REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Work closely with our AI and machine learning teams to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling, ensuring data is accessible and reliable.
• Optimize data flow and collection to improve data accuracy and value. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across the company to support their data infrastructure needs and to ensure seamless data integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, ensuring the integrity and availability of our data.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of our data infrastructure.

We're Looking For Someone With:

• A strong background in data engineering, including experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and data modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for data engineering such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and understanding of how to leverage them for data processing and storage.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
